Introduction
Love to take pictures while traveling, hiking or around the house. Other than taking two photography classes and reading some books, I have a long way to go to do what I dreamed, take artistic and creative photos in a more professional level.
Are you a Professional, Semi-Pro, Amateur, or Beginning photographer?
I believe that I am still a beginner in respect of utilizing camera features and photography skills.
Composition maybe the only thing I have little confidence, but I don't really follow the rules of thumb.
I used my instinct to 'frame' the photos.
What are you looking to contribute and or learn from the group?
I am willing to contribute whatever I can except photography skills, not in this beginning stage :-)
I like to know my camera better, learn the skills to manipulate exposure, lightening and various devices through workshops and actual out shootings.
How many years shooting (All mediums - film, and digital)?
Many many years of casual shootings for fun using mostly automatic settings. Started experimenting a little bit of manual settings since I had my first digital camera 6 years ago and I have just got my SLR last year.
What is your favorite type of shooting (Landscapes, Macro, People, Events, Family...etc)?
landscape, close-up, small creatures, family events, occasional portraits (people from different culture)
