Introduction
I am Denice and live in the Salem area. I enjoy digital photography and would like to learn and grow in that area for my own enjoyment.

Amateur - Beginner
What are you looking to contribute and or learn from the group?
I have a lot of photoshop experience I could contribute and would like to learn how to capture great shots.
How many years shooting (All mediums - film, and digital)?
Just recreational with film then to digital. Took a class last spring at Chemeketa and really enjoyed it.
What is your favorite type of shooting (Landscapes, Macro, People, Events, Family...etc)?
Anything.

Welcome, Denice. As Tom said, there are lots of opportunities to learn here and lots of very knowledgeable people willing to share. Just show up for the meetings and meet ups and I'm sure you'll fit right in.

Hi Denice, i don't think there is a welcoming committee but if you come to the meet ups and post images afterward you will quickly become a part of the group and recognize all of the individual strengths. We have a few professional photographers who are very generous with their time with the group and a number of semi-pros who add a lot of instruction and set great examples. The rest of us tag along and enjoy the ride.
