In this workshop we will be learning the process for shooting a series of photographs for HDR Photography Processing as well as how to use Photomatix to process your HDR photos.
There is a $5 fee for this class that will be used to pay for the rental fees of the space.
The syllabus is as follows:
1:00 PM - How to shoot for HDR Presentation and discussion
1:30 PM - Hands on shooting for HDR
2:00 PM - Introduction to Photomatix
2:30 PM - Hands on Photomatix training
3:30 PM - Wrap up
You will learn:
What is HDR.
What is an optimal scene for HDR.
Use your camera's histogram to gauge the number of exposures you will need for an HDR series.
What settings you will need to use on your camera for good a good HDR outcome.
Introduction to Photomatix.
Loading, processing and saving your HDR photos.
An understanding on what the various controls do.
How to process a single image as HDR.
Here is what you will need to bring:
Your camera
Tripod
A remote shutter release (optional)
A memory card reader to move your images to your laptop from your camera
A laptop with Photomatix installed which you can download the trial for free at http://www.hdrsoft.co.... (or notepad and pen to take notes)
Your imagination
This workshop, like all workshops, is for paid members only.

Sorry for the late notice but I'm not able to make the HDR workshop. A huge Bummer. I hope someone is available to take advantage of my spot.
Thank you for a great class, been playing around some with the demo of Photomatix and really like the results. This is far more simple than I thought it would be, looking forward to learning more.
